Switch D-Link DES-1016 16-port 10/100 Mbit / s is a new series of devices for networking SOHO. Thanks to Green technology device reduces energy costs and reduces the power consumption of the device without sacrificing performance and functional characteristics. Using a power adapter, compliant EnergyStar Level V and the RoHS Directive on the restriction of the use of hazardous substances, as well as the reuse of packaging protect the environment.
Saving electricity
16-Port Switch DES-1016 provides automatic saving of electricity in several ways. With the automatic power off when there is no connection ports are saving a significant amount of energy on the inactive port or ports that are connected to the computer is off. The switch is able to analyze the length of any cable connected to select the desired level of power consumption, thus providing energy savings without sacrificing performance.
Protecting the environment
DES-1016 is designed in compliance with EnergyStar Level V and regulations and the CEC MEPS, requiring the use of power adapters that reduce energy consumption in order to protect the environment. The switch also complies with RoHS to restrict the use of hazardous substances and recycling of packaging that greatly reduces the amount of waste under the WEEE directive
