Gigabit Switch 5-port D-Link DGS-1005D provides data and work online gaming at up to 2000 Mbit / s. Ethernet-ports are located on the front panel of the switch, which facilitates access to them, and the two color LEDs for each port to help you easily determine the status of the connection. DGS-1005D supports QoS, ensuring prioritization of delay-sensitive traffic and important for efficient transmission of multimedia data in real-time, high quality VoIP calls and online gaming. The switch is equipped with a slot for a Kensington lock on the rear panel that allows you to attach a device, such as a table.
Implementation of technology D-Link Green
Switch DGS-1005D support function to plug-and-play is a device which uses D-Link Green, providing energy savings, reduced heat emission and a longer product life without sacrificing performance or functionality. The switch supports IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE), which is determined by when the connected computer is turned off or when there is no Ethernet-traffic, and power is turned off on inactive ports, thus saving a considerable amount of energy. The switch is able to regulate power consumption, determining the length of the cable is connected to the port. Both of these features work together to automatically save energy.
Protecting the environment
Switch DGS-1005D is designed with consideration of the environment and complies with Energy Star Level V, as well as compulsory regulations CEC and MEPS, which mandate the use of energy efficient power adapters. Also, the switch is designed in accordance with RoHS standards to minimize the use of hazardous materials and recycle used packaging.
