Description

The D-Link DVA-G3340S wireless ADSL VoIP router is a comprehensive device includes integrated ADSL2/2+ interface, 2-port VoIP gateway , 802.11g wireless LAN and 4-port Ethernet switch. Supporting ADSL download speeds of up to 24Mbps, firewall protection and Quality of Service (QoS), this router provides all the functions that an office needs to establish a convenient and secure high-speed Internet link to the outside world.

High-Speed ADSL Connection. This wireless ADSL V oIP router features the latest ADSL2/ADSL2+ standards, providing speeds of up to 24Mbps downstream and 1Mbps upstream (ADSL2+), or 12Mbps downstream and 1Mbps upstream (ADSL2). This router auto-senses the connection type and auto-negotiates the best modulation scheme, using the G.hs (handshake) protocol.

2 Internet Telephone Connections.  2 integrated FXS ports provide 2 Internet phone connections. Plug in regular phone sets to these ports, and they become Internet telephones. For offices with frequent needs for long-distance and international phone calls, this router provides an easy and inexpensive upgrade to Internet telephony. This built-in VoIP gateway extends your past spending in telephones, conference speakers phones and fax machines, as well as to control your migration to IP with an affordable, incremental investment. A PSTN lifeline allows the phone sets connected to the DV A-G3340S to accepts normal analog calls in case of an Internet disconnection or a power failure.

Ready Wireless LAN & Ethernet Connection for Workgroup. The DVA-G3340S provides an integrated 802.11g WLAN supporting wireless speeds of up to 54Mbps and interoperability with 802.11b wireless devices on the 2.4GHz frequency band. 4 built-in Ethernet ports and a USB interface provide ready wired connection to 5 computers. These built-in functions save you the cost and trouble of installing a separate wireless access point and an Ethernet switch.

Firewall Protection. This router provides firewall security using Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and hacker attack logging for Denial of Service (DoS) attack protection. SPI inspects the contents of all incoming packet headers before deciding what packets are allowed to pass through. Access control is provided with packet filtering based on port and source/destination MAC/IP addresses. With Virtual Server Mapping, multiple LAN ports and DMZ support, you can set up separate FTP and web servers while hiding your office computers behind an Internet-visible IP address for protection against hackers. VPN pass-through lets mobile users access files and mail from offices to work at home without having to use complex VPN client software.

Quality of Service Features. 4 priority queues enable your office to experience the benefit of smooth network connection without concern of traffic congestion. This QoS support allows you to enjoy high ADSL transmission for applications such as VoIP, multimedia and large file transfer over the Internet.
