Gigabit PoE Kiti
The DKT-200 Gigabit PoE Kit includes one passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector and one 48V/0.5A adapter. It is designed to supply operational power and Gigabit uplink bandwidth to surveillance cameras and PoE LAN devices such as access points, cameras, and routers. It enables power to be delivered over the network via an Ethernet cable, eliminating the need to place the device near an existing power source. The injector unit is designed to accept a power input, so the DKT-200 is ideal for connections between a non-Power over Ethernet switch and a remote PoE device.
Network administrators can use the DKT-200 to deploy PoE LAN devices and cameras in hard-to-reach places such as rooftops, ceilings, or any other place not usually in close proximity to a power outlet. Support for 48V DC input and output provides compatibility for most devices, and its plug-and-play design means there’s nothing else to configure. This means that administrators have the freedom to position network devices where they will be most effective, rather than having to settle for less desirable locations due to the limited availability of power, or use messy power extension cables.
Future-proof your expanding network with support for Gigabit speeds so your network devices perform at their maximum potential. Due to the increasing popularity of megapixel IP cameras, support for Gigabit throughput means smoother high-resolution streams, resulting in more detail-rich images. Using the DKT-200, both power and data can be transmitted up to 328 feet (100m)* using standard Ethernet cabling without deterioration in performance.
Easy to Set Up
The DKT-200 Gigabit PoE Kit is simple to deploy because it requires no tools or software to install. Its compact size makes implementation of the DKT-200 easy. Network administrators can simply plug the injector into a power outlet and connect a network switch, then connect to a network device in another location using a standard Ethernet cable. Power and data will be transmitted through this cable to enable PoE functionality in the remote location. Once connected, up to 24 watts of power can be outputted to any compatible 48V PoE device such as access points, IP cameras, and routers.*
