Wireless Interface
Using DAP-1150/NB1, you can quickly organize your wireless network and allow your employees or your family members to connect to it almost anywhere (in the range of a wireless network). The access point can serve as a base station to connect to a wireless network devices that run on standard 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n (with up to 150 Mbit/s).
The device provides many functions for the wireless interface. The device supports several security standards (WEP, WPA/WPA2), filter plug-in device MAC-address, and allows the use of the WPS and WMM.
Configuring and Managing
To manage and configure DAP-1150/NB1 used a simple and convenient built-in web-based interface (available in several languages).
Access Point Mode
You can use DAP-1150/NB1 as an access point to create a wireless network or connect to a wired router
Router Mode
You can connect to router mode DAP-1150/NB1 to a cable or DSL-modem or dedicated Ethernet-line to a high-speed Internet connection for a wide range of professional tasks.
Repeater mode wireless network
You can use DAP-1150/NB1 in router mode to extend the range of wireless router.
Security
In router mode DAP-1150/NB1 provides firewall. Enhanced security features allow you to minimize the effects of hackers and prevent intrusion into your network and access to undesirable Web sites for users on your network.
