Indoor 2.4GHz High Gain Directional Panel Antenna

The D-Link ANT24-1200 High Gain Indoor Directional Panel Antenna is designed for use with wireless devices operating in the 2.4GHz frequency band such as 802.11 standard wireless access points and routers. It provides a Gain of 12dBi to give your wireless network an extended operating range. For best performance, users can use an antenna of the same Gain (12dBi) or higher, at the other end of the connection to take advantage of this antenna’s powerful signal transmission*. The antenna can be used at homes, businesses or public hotspots.

Point-to-Point Application
The ANT24-1200 is ideal for operating in modes such as point-to-point WDS and others that require a high gain directional antenna. An example application of this antenna is to extend your local area network (LAN) by connecting LANs at two physically separated locations. Alternatively, Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) subscribers can also use this antenna to establish a strong connection between their host and to their ISP’s outdoor AP.

AP to Wireless Client Application
Another application is to connect this antenna to a host operating in the AP mode. By mounting the antenna on a high pole, RF signals from the antenna can be beamed towards one direction to reach multiple wireless clients. Capable of sending signals to an extended range, this antenna can be installed at public places such as convention halls or airport hotspots to provide Intranet or Internet access to users needing wireless connection for their computers, PDA and other devices.

Window or Wall Mounting
The ANT24-1200 Indoor Directional Antenna uses a fl at panel design and includes an extension cable (3m) and a mounting kit for wall installation.
You can also place the antenna on a window using the provided suction cups.

*Transmission and reception distances can vary according to the transmission speeds. To get maximum signal coverage, make sure there is no obstruction in the signal path between the transmission and reception ends.
