Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides mobile users and branch offices secure channel of communication to connect to the corporate network. DSR-150/150N, DSR-250/250N, DSR-500/500N DSR-1000/1000N and supports 5, 10, 15 or 20 tunnels Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) 1 , providing mobile users with remote access to a central corporate database . When you create a Site-to-site VPN-tunnel protocols are IP Security (IPSec), Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) or Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP), which simplifies the process of connecting remote users and branch offices through encrypted virtual links .DSR-150/150N supports up to 10 simultaneous IPSec VPN-tunnels and up to 10 VPN-tunnels PPTP/L2TP.
